The Gregorio Esparza Alamo Descendants Association consists of members who are direct lineal descendants of Gregorio Esparza and Ana Salazar and the children which are Enrique, Manuel, and Francisco Esparza. They were present inside the walls of the Alamo and survived the battle on that fateful day March 6th, 1836. The Our members have traced their origin back to Gregorio and Ana Esparza being that Gregorio Esparza Sacrificed his Life for the Independence of Texas from Mexico. And Ana Salazar Esparza with their Children never left Gregorio Esparza side even during the Battle. The Gregorio Esparza Alamo Descendants Association was incorporated as a non-profit corporation in 2022. Since its inception, our purpose has been to perpetuate the memory and spirit of their ancestors. Its mission is to (1) encourage historical research and publication of the earliest records of family members. (2) foster the preservation of historic sites, documents and artifacts relating to the family and their ancestors. (3) participate in community activities which will remind the populace of its our heritage, and (4) mark the observance of certain dates that are important to the history of Gregorio Esparza.
By provision of the bylaws of the Gregorio Esparza Alamo Descendants Association, we are committed to conducting its business, purpose, mission, and goals in accordance with (1) all applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations, and (2) the highest sense of integrity, honesty, loyalty and truthfulness. The Gregorio Esparza Alamo Descendants Association is governed by a Committee consisting of the Officers that are voted in by the Gregorio Esparza Alamo Descendants Association current active members.
The Gregorio Esparza Alamo Descendants Association values and respects the privacy of each of its members. We will never knowingly keeps sensitive data. Should your private data (such as: social security number, driver’s license number), or any other sensitive personnel information that you do not want divulged, be on an application, it is your responsibility to remove it before submitting. Your name and home address are released to the Gregorio Esparza Alamo Descendants Association Officers or Representatives members. The communication operations require the need to have your name and address in the our records. By submitting your application for membership, you acknowledge acceptance of this policy. Since one of the goals of the Gregorio Esparza Alamo Descendants Association is to promote and facilitate genealogical research, all information contained in your membership application is open to the public. Except for some family Bible information, all the information you use to compile your application is available from public sources.
